Crédit Agricole CIB names Indonesia chief rep
Bank veteran Alexis Rafidison has experience in China multinational corporate coverage
The Asset 19 Jun 2024

French bank Crédit Agricole CIB has appointed Alexis Rafidison as its chief representative officer for Indonesia, effective July 15, with responsibility for exploring local business opportunities and supporting the bank’s developments in Indonesia.

Rafidison joined the bank in 2006 as a corporate relationship manager in the mid-cap department and became senior relationship manager in 2009. In 2013, he was appointed senior vice-president to oversee leveraged and acquisition financing transactions for mid-cap clients, and was subsequently appointed global relationship manager in charge of large strategic French client portfolios in 2015.  He was most recently the head of multinational corporate coverage for the bank in China, a role he had assumed since 2020.

Indonesia, the bank says, represents vast potential for it in the Asia-Pacific region. The bank’s clientele in Indonesia includes domestic public sector and large conglomerates, as well as financial institutions and locally based multinational corporations.

The bank, it adds, “has been supporting and will continue to accompany Indonesian players in their sustainable finance and energy transition initiatives”.
