Lombard Odier inaugurates new Geneva headquarters
Group reaffirms confidence in Switzerland’s financial sector
The Asset   5 Sep 2025

Lombard Odier Group has inaugurated its new Geneva headquarters, an architectural landmark designed by internationally acclaimed Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. Located in Bellevue, Geneva, the group says the avant-garde building embodies its commitment to innovation and sustainability.

The new headquarters will bring together more than 2,000 employees, who were previously spread across six sites in Geneva, thereby enhancing efficiency and fostering stronger collaboration.

For Geneva’s oldest private bank, with almost 230 years of history, the new headquarters reaffirms its commitment to Geneva and its continued confidence in Switzerland’s financial sector.

“Our new headquarters is more than a building – it is a statement that represents who we are today and our future growth ambitions,” says Lombard Odier senior managing partner Hubert Keller. “Partnering with Herzog & de Meuron allowed us to push boundaries and create a state-of-the-art working environment designed according to the highest sustainability standards. We look forward to welcoming our clients to our new home, and to serving them in this exceptional building.”

Located on the shores of Lake Geneva, the building has been designed to embrace flexibility and transparency by maximizing the perception of its natural surroundings. Employees will move into the building throughout the months of September and October.

The client areas have been designed by renowned interior designer Rodolphe Parente, offering a unique experience to clients during their interactions with bankers and other experts.

The building has been constructed according to robust criteria regarding material use, energy provision, circularity, employee well-being, and advanced green technologies that significantly reduce its environmental footprint. It aims to achieve the highest level of three widely recognized sustainable construction certifications: SNBS ( Standard Nachhaltiges Bauen Schweiz ), Minergie-P, and BREEAM.
