TotalEnergies sells 50% stake in Greek unit to Asterion
Deal implies total wind and solar portfolio valuation of €508 million
Michael Marray   31 Dec 2025

TotalEnergies has sold a 50% stake in its Greek subsidiary, which holds a 424-megawatt wind and solar portfolio, to Madrid-based investment firm Asterion Industrial Partners.

The transaction implies a total portfolio valuation of €508 million ( US$598 million ), equivalent to approximately €1.2 million per installed megawatt. Watson Farley & Williams advised TotalEnergies.

The portfolio includes 374MW of operational assets and 50MW under construction, diversified across 204MW of solar PV and 220MW of wind. The assets are located in the Peloponnese, East Macedonia and Thrace, and Central Greece regions, all known for their good wind and solar resources.

TotalEnergies will continue to operate the assets and, once the existing regulated tariffs expire, will handle the offtake and marketing of most of the electricity produced.

Asterion Industrial Partners is an independent European investment management firm specializing in mid‑market infrastructure across energy, digital, utilities, and mobility.
