Digital lender allows app users to own a slice of US blue chips for as little as US$10
The Asset   21 Jan 2026

Trust Bank, a digitally native bank in Singapore, has launched a trading platform for US stocks and exchange-traded funds ( ETFs ), becoming the first banking app in the city-state to offer fractional trading.

TrustInvest, the bank’s integrated investment platform, allows clients to own a slice of blue-chip US companies for as little as US$10. With some of these stocks, such as Tesla and Meta, trading at over S$500 ( US$390 ) per share, users can trade at smaller amounts to build a diversified portfolio.

Trust Bank has partnered with online trading firm Saxo, which boasts over 30 years of expertise and 20 years of experience operating in the Singapore market. Through this partnership, customers can access more than 7,000 tradable US stocks and ETFs, all seamlessly integrated into the Trust App.

The bank charges no custody fees, platform fees, or settlement fees for trading. It is also offering zero commission on trades until June 30. Customers can win free fractional stock worth up to US$500 when they make their first trade of at least US$1,000.

Launched in September 2022, Trust Bank is a joint venture between Standard Chartered Bank, with a 60% stake, and food retailer FairPrice Group. It holds a full bank licence from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
