Bank of Singapore has appointed Aline Pacheco as market group head for Asean, effective October 12. She will also lead coverage for the Philippines, which entails driving a coordinated market strategy and business plan.
Based in Singapore, Pacheco will report to Vi Sun Yang, head of private banking, Asean.
A seasoned private banker with over 25 years of experience, Pacheco brings deep expertise in client advisory for the ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth segments in Asia, and investment solutions across multiple asset classes.
Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, she was group head, Southeast Asia, at Julius Baer Singapore, where she led a team of 30 relationship managers and assistant relationship managers. Before that, she held senior leadership positions at UBS, including market team head, Philippines; head of equities, Asia-Pacific; and head of direct access clients advisory, Asia-Pacific.
The firm has also appointed Cecil Yeo as market group head for Asean, effective December 7. He will lead coverage for Thailand.
